  • Owner / Music Therapist

I am a board-certified music therapist and Founder of Aspire Music Therapy, LLC in Fort Wayne, IN. I graduated from Indiana-University Purdue-University Fort Wayne with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy in December of 2016. I’ve worked with a variety of populations, including developmental disabilities, geriatrics, physical disabilities, and mental health. I’ve also interned at the Northern Indiana VA, where I had the privilege to serve the men who served our country. I provided music therapy to the Vets to address a wide range of areas, including PTSD, dementia and hospice, physical rehabilitation, and mental health. I strive to create an environment during sessions for music to impact my clients physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Aside from work, I spend time with my community of family and friends, explore new places, and enjoy the local coffee shops.

  • Administrative Assistant

I am the Administrative Assistant for Aspire Music Therapy, LLC. In this role, I am responsible for client communication and therapists' schedules, as well as other office tasks. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Moody Bible Institute and a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Moody Theological Seminary. My education and vocational experiences have equipped me with skills in communication and organization. I enjoy working with people from many different backgrounds and cultures. In my free time, I also enjoy spending time with friends and family, taking long walks around Fort Wayne, and reading British literature.

  • Music Therapist

I am a Detroit MI native who has over half a decade of hospice music therapy experience. After learning the ins and outs of music therapy at Western Michigan University, I pursued excellence in hospice care all over Michigan before joining Aspire. In my free time, some favorites of mine are traveling, writing songs, and learning more about Fort Wayne.

  • Employee Music Therapist

I am a board-certified music therapist who completed my Bachelor of Music Therapy at Purdue University Fort Wayne, and will complete my Master of Music Therapy with a focus on music therapy in integrative medicine at PFW in May 2024. While interning at the VA of northern Indiana, I was honored to provide individual and group music therapy sessions to support our veterans and their loved ones. During my internship I started a bi-weekly music therapy group for veterans residing on the Substance Abuse Residential Program unit, and co-facilitated a weekly group for women veterans seeking strategies for self-care. I am trauma-informed and believe that music affords us resources that support the emergence of our authentic selves. I enjoy exploring and adventuring with my family, being delighted by nature and nourishing my curiosity.
