Christmas Pop Guess the Song Title
I love the chance to change up the music I use in sessions whenever holidays roll around. This “Guess the Song Title” has been a popular product in our store, so I made a couple of Christmas versions! This picture sheet has 12 Christmas themed pop songs, perfect for teens and young adults!
You could facilitate this by: having clients guess the song before hearing, playing the song and having the clients identify which box is being played, or cutting out each box from the sheets & having clients match the song title with the picture!
I would take it a step further by using this to lead into lyric discussion. I came up with these worksheets to use with my teen clients who may not be thrilled about talking about their emotions or mental health. This could be used as an ice breaker to lead to discussion like: holiday traditions, “stress” mentioned at the beginning of Christmas Tree Farm, if there’s something sad about the holidays like Snowman, etc. These visuals and discussion then are approachable and fun for teens!
