Social Emotional Skills Guessing Game
Social skills and emotions can be tough to engage clients in sometimes, no matter the age. It can be boring, hard to understand, too personal. As my clients have gotten older and navigated various goals, I’ve had to get creative in how to teach / discuss social skills and emotional identification. Most recently, I’ve adapted a popular guessing game and created new boards to help my clients work on these goals. My clients have LOVED having a new game, which has made discussing emotions and social situations more approachable and engaging.
We think your clients would love it too (and it’s friendly for a variety of ages!!). We’re excited to share 2 new game boards - one focused on emotions and the other focusing on social situations. Also included is a facilitation guide, as well as a suggestion for how to incorporate a short musical prompt.
